Excellent small museum of sculptures, sketches, and paintings near Echmiatin. Very highly recommended!

This is a small museum very close to the Echmiatzin complex featuring the work of Khoren Ter-Harutyunyan (sometimes known as Der-Harootian). There are about 30-40 pieces on display ranging from elaborate statues and sculptures to sketches to paintings. The museum is very inexpensive at only 300 AMD per person (USD$0.64). Open hours are 10:30am to 6:00pm Tuesday-Sunday (closed Monday). We saw the whole museum in only about 30 minutes. This is a really nice museum and absolutely a splendid change of pace from the normal viewing of churches and monasteries in Armenia. I highly recommend visiting this museum.
