After painting a piece of pre-formed pottery (such as mugs, plates, other tableware, and decorative pieces) with glazes, it is fired, and then you have a fully functional ceramic piece to use at home. Those who want to do more can take “wet clay” classes, and learn how to form traditional pottery on the wheel or by hand. It has a fun atmosphere, and the staff are very helpful and enthusiastic. You can just drop in to choose a piece of pottery and paint it, or take a short wet clay workshop. Time needed to do this is just dependent on the complexity of the piece, and how complex you want to get with your painting design. They also offer children’s pottery painting birthday parties.
