Very pretty park.

We visited the park over two days for some fishing and sightseeing. This is a very scenic park and all of the facilities looked to be very nice. We are not into camping anymore so we stayed in Ardmore which is only about a 15 minute drive from the park. The park does not charge an entrance fee but does charge for parking. If you rent a camp space, your parking is included. You can use an online app to prepay your parking in advance and there is no check-in at the park. Very convenient. We did some fishing feom the two fishing piers in the park. I use a mobility scooter and both are easily accessible. Lots of bites and drowned worms but no luck. The park was very peaceful and there were lots of hikers and bikers using the trails. We, along with our fur babies, enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful weather. We will definitely be back.

    Relaxing and Beautiful
We came on Labor Day weekend as it is an easy drive from DFW and we just wanted to get away from the city for the day. The park is very large and offers water activities and hiking. We did the Nature Center which has a lot of interesting information about that part of Oklahoma. They have hummingbird feeders outside the nature center and we enjoyed seeing many of them. The ranger explained they're in the migration path as they were migrating at that time. We then walked up to Tucker Tower where you can have great views of Lake Murray. We then drove around the park and did one of the hiking trails. They do have cabins for rent, and we think we might do that one of these weekends. Overall a place to relax and get in touch with nature, especially if you live in a big urban area.

    Big Lovely Park
This is a big beautiful park. The major feature is the Lake, so come here on a hot day to enjoy the water and water sports. Lots of picnic places and some camping. Nice looking lodge.
