A Medieval Art unique experience
Inside Jaca romanesque cathedral (quite a jewel in Europe) this museum shows very valious pieces of catholic art, from Romanesque (the biggest and most valious part) to Gothic, Renaaissance and Baroque. On some moments of the day a guide would explain the religious and historic context and how to "read" some of the pieces. There is a room decorated as a Romanesque church of Aragon with the original paintings and a video explaining the work and how restorarion process works.

Special!
This museum contains frescoes from Romanesque churches. They were "rescued" from these buildings by being ripped off on strips of plaster. Considering the way it was done, the frescoes are in a good state; there are some really remarkable displays, most especially the entire chapel of Bagüés, which is quite wonderful and very well displayed. There are many other treasures to see there too.
