Beautiful on the outside
These people are exaggerating with their “siesta”. It is awful, everything is closed in the afternoon! Huesca doesn’t have many things to offer but this cathedral which I couldn’t even get in! However, it is a nice building, I find it has more character than other overrated ones like the one in Girona. Nice details on the façade, looks warm and welcoming but with all the sadness, this is all I can say.

Superb view from above!
The small ancient town which Huesca is offers its guest fascinating travelling through space and time =) "Time part" covers interior and exibition of the cathedral and staircase to the tower's top is responsible for "space" - they bring you halfway to heaven and let you enjoy better view of the town and surroundings you can ever imagine! Nice gregorian choir (record of course, but still) pitch the atmosphere and helps you to feel what they have in the cathedral, not only see! But the major attraction of the whole town is the view! Get 187 stairs up (OMG! Make sure you're slim - the last staircase is tight) and you will bw able to see all Huesca many kilometres around! It's breathtaking and definitely worth 3 Euro they charge!

Probably the most important monument in Huesca
Huesca Cathedral is a religious building located in the main square of Huesca, in the old town and in front of the town hall. It is an historical and recognizable building, in fact is the typical building, which when you see it, you know it is Huesca. For me the best parts are the main gate and especially the altar. The best monument in Huesca, which I recommend you see calmly in the day and at night and you do a guided visit to learn a lot of things about the Cathedral.
