A+ for the idea!

Honestly I spend quite long time trying to understand HOW does contour of the fountain remind Latin America... I walked around this place over and over again! But when finally I realised that not only upper part the water flows from should be concidered, but the fountain's bowls as well it all came to me! Of course! The grey rock water falls from is just a beginning and to get the complete picture you have to include the pool in front of the fountain! This is South America indeed! The idea is very unusual and brilliant! Thanks for new experiance, Zaragoza!

    Dramatic Water Feature
Located at the far end of Plaza de Pilar is this massive water sculpture. While it stands in stark contrast with the adjacent cathedral, I feel it doesn’t detract from its surroundings. During the daytime, the calm waters reflect the nearby buildings. At night the Fuente is lit with changing colorful lights.

    A unique fountain but.....
This fountain at one end of the Plaza del Pilar is unique and especially beautiful at night. Children will enjoy getting wet there on hot summer days and the sound of the water is always soothing at the end of a hectic workday. But as I mentioned in my review regarding the Plaza del Pilar itself I'm not sure that such a modern style fountain is the right fit for this location. You see in my opinion with so many historic buildings of classical architecture surrounding the plaza (and this fountain) I feel the modern style clashes a bit with the older buildings. Of course that's just my opinion and doesn't take away from the fountain's unique beauty, I just think it would be equally appreciated somewhere else.
