Off the beaten track

Well worth a visit , beautiful lake with some fantastic local restaurants on the shore. The trout was so fresh it was almost still swimming, take a look at Sondor up the hill at the south end of the lake

    Great views !
    Great experience to make the ride around the Lagune. There are many spots worth to stop and make pictures. The Andes is great. This Chunka culture rather unknown comparing to the Inca.

    Great views, easy road.
    We went to the lake from Andahuaylas and took the road all the way around the lake and then back to Andahuaylas again. It was a cloudy day but it was still beautiful. If we had more time we would have like to have stayed for the sunset and camp there, or wait for a sunny day.
