A lovely place to spend a couple hours
Nice park. I spent about two hours here (and I really like plants so I lingered). Entrance is free to the general gardens with a 4,000 peso charge for the butterfly exhibit - only a one US dollar and definitely worth it. Butterfly tour is via a guided tour in Spanish but I just enjoyed the surroundings while she talked since my Spanish is limited. Only plants in the butterfly exhibit have identifying signs. Still, it's a nice place to wander around. I was asked for proof of covid vaccination and identification matching that on my vaccination card.

Jardin Botanico & In Situ restaurant
The gardens are nice to walk but many things were not open. The lagoon is just that a lagoon. But we did find a fabulous restaurant in the Gardens. In Situ Restaurant. Lunch was great!!! The cost for the gardens is free so just make your way to the In Situ restaurant for lunch or dinner.
