Pine Avenue cafes and boutique shopping

This was one of the highlights of our trip! So much to see and do along Pine Avenue, and plenty of lunch and dinner options and ice cream and treats. Our favorite shops were: -Shiny Fish: stop in for an ice cream mochi bubble and paint your own sand dollar!!! Owner is SUPER nice and will do everything possible to make you happy and comfortable. Lots of reasonably priced goodies -Three Island Monkeys: another very nice store owner and lots of good souvenirs. Highlights were local prints and paintings by local artist. -The White Egret and Egrets Nest: Not sure if these are affiliated or just next door to one another but they were beautiful and I wanted one of everything! They're technically on Gulf near the intersection of Pine.

    Old Florida!
Never get tired of walking Pine Avenue and it environs. Whist there has been some new development it has not spoilt the ambience of the area. There is a mixture of gift type shops grocery shops, restaurants etc. Parking is freely available, but at very busy periods can be a little challenging and illegal parking is enforced. The locals are friendly and many will say hello, pretty rare these days! If you are in the area make a detour to visit AMI!

    A beach bum's paradise
I thoroughly enjoyed wandering up and down the historic streets of this quaint village. It truly is a beach bum's paradise, teeming with beach apparel boutiques and sea-inspired jewelry and gift shops. You truly could laze the day away as you lose yourself in the awe-inspiring local artwork!
