Beautiful but over commercialised....
It is very beautiful. We walked up the mountain to reach the tian tai. It took us two and a half hours but it is worth it cos along the way there are fantastic scenery . P.s. Please bring your own incense from our own country; do not believe what the people at jiuhuashan say if you don't buy the incense from temple then your wishes would not come true. It's not true!! There is no such crap as long as you have the heart to prayu that's upmost important. I am speaking from my personal experience... Don't believe the tour guides there they are out to cheat your money in ways beyond your imagination.. Just prepare for trip well, you don't need a guide there.. (unless you have tonnes of money to spare..

Even the ride was pleasant
We had hiked up Huangshan the day before and relaxed in the springs at night and then it was on to Jiuhua Mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride there as it was so picturesque. The Buddhist temple was an amazing place and felt so sacred. There were far less tourists to dampen the ambiance and they were even respectful here. If you have an extended stay in Huangshan, it is a must.

The Heaven on The Earth
That is the best place where I have been in China. The Nature, the sky the clouds all around. Long trip be prepared, take some water with You. Length of the trip 4-5hours but actually much longer up to 6-7hrs
