Great clean and green square
Although there are a lot of people living around Hefei and can be very crowded on the city square, the square itself is a GREAT GREEN area especially in the MUGGY AND HOT SUMMER, when temperature can reach as high as 47C and feel like a sauna! I was there from Mar 2015 to Aug 2015, visiting the square every month when I need to top up my phone expense, there are two large shopping malls with street food restaurants there, moreover, there's a telephone company where you can top up your phone expenses. There's also a Watson's to buy cleaning materials, and the bus station is there as well. Back in 2015, there's no metro operating, however I'm not sure if they have it available now...hopefully it will make transportation easier.

great place to visit
we went there with family to learn about the local culture and it was a great day, people does not speak english but they try to make you feel confortable
