Bao Zheng Cemetery, Anhui, China

Well worth seeing

The Bao Zheng tomb is one of the three sites dedicated to Lord Bao in the park that bears his name. It seems a lot of visitors miss the actual tomb itself as it's not very well posted once you're inside the gardens. It's under a temple building, down a nicely lit tunnel, at the back of the park on the left. Easy to miss and in fact, I nearly did. Buy the RMB50 ticket to see the three main Bao sites in the park.

    History lovers joy.
Visited on a week-end - easy to get around; informative; you need a ticket but it is very cheap. The area was clean, required walking and some small garden and buliing areas might cause concern if you have prams or wheelchairs, but it is very worth a visit.

You must visit this place when you stay in Hefei
Mr Bao was a very important person in the Chinese history. The cemetery is surrounded by a nice park where people play, rent electric boats and rest. In the middle of the park there is a museum dedicated to Bao. This is well developed within the Chinese style.
