Very Pleasant and Well Maintained Garden
This garden is located inside Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. At present it says that tickets must be purchased online prior to visiting, in order to limit numbers, but the website was malfunctioning and I was unable to do so. I turned up at the Alcazar, informed security of this and I was able to pay at the entrance. There were numerous other people in the same predicament. Nevertheless, the staff were very accommodating. The garden is visited after seeing the interior of the Alcazar. It's a very pleasant garden, which was being watered and tendered by several workers when I visited. I would recommend a morning visit, rather than in the afternoon when it is hottest.

Get in before 17:00
The gardens close exactly at 18:00 and they push the people out before this. So when you enter the Alcazar, be sure to do so either before 17:00 or skip the Alcazar altogether. There is not much to see except for a few nice mosaics. I think this is way better when even more stuff is blooming, although there were quite a few nice details. Buy the ticket ahead of time at the kiosk on the opposite side of the street.

Well worth a visit
The Alcazar is admittedly much smaller than Seville or the Alhambra, but it's well worth the 5 Euro charge. Climb up the tower for a great view of the city, and the gardens are a hidden gem. We visited in the winter and were delighted with abundant flowers and well-trimmed bushes, and an artistic array of ponds. Well worth the visit!
