Annoyed at lack of app but AMAZING church
So I at first was REALLY annoyed with this place, as unlike the three other spots I went to earlier that day with a combined ticket, this place did NOT have free Wifi to download the app audioguide. Rather a locked network showed and the grouchy staff member claimed there was no Wifi password for me to use. My phone data wasn’t working which meant I wandered annoyed with NO info anywhere on what I was seeing. I was ready to give this place totally negative reviews as before you reach the STUNNING chapel, the rest of the rooms to visit are mediocre. But my god, the chapel. WOW. I bought a ticket under the multipass option: this, the cathedra and chapel, and another monastery, for €17.

Great church
Sometimes I am baffled. I looked up my reviews and sure enough we had seen this before. Only that time we were as the title of the review stated "Underwhelmed". We saw it as was either getting dark or already dark, that much I remember and we rushed through, perhaps not seeing everything as it was near closing. I did like the church, but I remeber it differently, very old with these cracked wooden painted panels, peeling murals, really decrepit, yet it was still nice. I lamented it's delapidated state. Move forward to this trip and it's like a different universe. Since it was a 5 week trip and this was near the end, things begin to blur a bit and as were tired by the time we reached the church, again near the end of the day, and we rushed to get to the church, I don't remember much of the monastery, except the church. We came in and started taking lots of pictures, as it was a very lovely church. Unfortunately, it was quickly 6PM and they started a service. So we sat down and discretely took pics and then moved to another spot to take more. After the service we took the leftovers. It really is a wonderful church. A fabulous tall altar
