Puerto de Malaga, Andalucia, Spain

4.5 (6.670 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #12 in Province of Malaga Points of Interest & Landmarks • Piers & Boardwalks

Nice walk and area to pass the time.

This is a very nice stretch to stroll along and take in the views and sights. We walked along the Paseo de Los Curas and found lots of cafes, restaurants and shops as well as street performers - singers, dancers and acrobats. There is a 'roof', of sorts, that does give a light bit of shade during hot and sunny days and there is a panoramic view of the harbour with its yachts and bigger ships. It does get very busy especially when the cruise ships are visiting.

    Great addition
We have been coming to this city for many, many years now and there is no doubt this port has added a lot to it. It is an added dimension which has allowed cruise ships to come to the city for better and worse and a whole host of new restaurants to open. To be honest, most of these are two gentrified for us as we would prefer a Tapas bar in the city centre but there is no doubt these mainly chain restaurants are very popular. There are beautiful walks around the harbour and along its edge so it is well worth coming out of the city to visit at least once.
