Beautiful place and great tour

We visited on a rainy day, mainly so we could do something indoors, but we were pleasantly surprised (no need to pre-book). The building was beautiful and the tour was very educational. There were 2 tour guides, one of them took around the Spanish speakers, whilst the other one took around the English speakers.

One of the best places to visit in Seville
Slightly off the beaten track, this may not be on most 'must do' lists like the Cathedral and Alcazar, but it really isn't to be missed. At 12 euros per head, it isn't the cheapest activity in the city, but well worth a visit. The palace showcases an incredible collection of art, artefacts, furniture, and Roman mosaic. One can walk around the ground floor at one's leisure, and enjoy the various rooms and the outdoors. A guided tour (approximately 25 minutes) of the upstairs is included in the price of the ticket. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and provided commentary in both Spanish and in English. It was easy enough to buy tickets at the Reception. No previous booking was needed. From what we observed, tours of the upstairs seemed to run every 30 minutes, on the hour and the half hour. We arrived at 11.40 so we looked around downstairs, were part of the 12 noon tour group upstairs, and then spent more time downstairs after the tour.

Beautiful collection in the heart of Sevilla
Eclectic collection beautifully displayed. Objects come from different parts of the world and range from ancient Roman mosaics to Japanese art, from azulejos to valuable paintings and much more. Guided tour of the 1st floor, while the visit of the ground floor is on its own. The building is very pleasant and unique, however I felt the entrance fee of 12 EUR is quite pricy when compared to other monuments in the area.
