Outstanding - a must visit
Stunning both inside and out. Next time I'm going to investigate having a guided tour, so much to see. €12 Euro to gain access to this beautiful cathedral and also onto the roof. Less expensive if you don't want to go to the roof, but I would absolutely recommend it if you don't mind 150+ steps in a fairly confined space. Access to the roof is timed with a guide so if you are under time pressure, do ask at the ticket desk what time the next roof tour will begin. Then, views from the top are magnificent. A leader takes groups up and you get to spend approximately 35 minutes there. Not a tour, as such, but the leader will answer questions if you have them. They also have admission prices for children and 65+ adults. One of my favourite things to see and do in Malaga. There are toilets in the gift shop and also near the roof (if you are badly stuck!)

Devine and Probably one of the most beautiful churches.
The cathedral is amazing. You won’t regret paying for the rooftop access, which is some 200 spiral stairs but worth the vista with the mountains on one side and the beautiful beach on the other and the sprawling city of Malaga below. Traveler Tip: The audio guide works on your cell phone after you scan a QR. If you don’t want to walk around with the phone sticking on your ears, take a headphone with you :)

The huge Cathedral of Malaga
I went to see the Cathedral of Malaga and bought the ticket both to the church and to the roof to see the view over Malaga, but when I found out, that it was 200 steps to the roof I got cold feet and visited the cathedral only, were you find grand artworks and a Gothic and a Neoclassic altarpieces. The Cathedral of Malaga is a Roman Catholic Church in the Renaissance architectural tradition. It was constructed between 1528 and 1782.The north tower is 84 meters high, making this building the second-highest cathedral in Andalusia, after the Giralda of Seville. The south tower remains unfinished.
