Time well spent
We visited the tour of JC during our stay in Sevilla and it was definitely the right choice. JC works and lives in a beautiful authentic Finca just outside of Sevilla, and has a great passion for raising the bulls and telling you about the history of the Corrida de Toros (the Spanish bull fighting). Whatever your opinion on the Corrida is, you will be a lot more informed on this subject during the tour. Without trying to convince you in to changing your opinion on the matter, you'll definitely be more educated and seeing things from a different and more realistic perspective. I would definitely recommend everybody that is looking for a real authentic Spanish experience to take the tour. It is definitely the highlight of our trip, and it offers you the local experience that you are probably looking for, with a lot of information about Andalusian history and culture. Truly Unique Experience...
We recently took a tour of the Campo Bravo ranch just outside Seville, which turned out to be one of more interesting experiences of our entire holiday. We spent an excellent 3 hours with our host Jean Christian who gave us a tour of this authentic working ranch, taking us up close and personal with the bulls of the ranch. JCs passion for the whole world of rearing bulls is evident (he was a picador himself), and his knowledge of the history of the world of the “Corridas de Toros” was really interesting and always engaging. Definitely worth a visit for an informative insight to this part of Spanish culture.
