Beautiful Gardens
Las Dueñas Palace, House of Alba's current residence in Seville, was built between the 15th and 16th centuries and is one of the greatest historical attractions of the city. The building itself, including styles from Gothic-Mudejar to the Renaissance, has significant architectural interest as its several gardens and patios with a special charm . With a diverse collection of painting and sculpture, the house also treasures many family memories. The current configuration of its pieces has remained true to its actual distribution before the opening, making the Palace a unique and different place to visit.

TRANQUIL SPLENDOUR
The Palace of Las Duenas is hidden away in a quiet corner of Seville, but well sign-posted and easy to find. It is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Alba who still reside here. The ground floor of the Palace and gardens are open to the public and there are garden seats where one can sit and relax in the shade. This place gives a glimpse into the past and present and one can see the family's interest in the Seville ferias and bull fighting. It is a very nice place to while away an hour or so. Well worth it for the atmosphere and a quiet haven from the lively town centre.

Highly recommend small palace!
Recently visited with a private guide (very advisable) on a Saturday - not crowded in afternoon! It is not as grand as other small palaces in Europe but for Seville I feel it was the best choice after researching Pilatos/other palaces. The story of the Albas actually exceeded my expectations and both the interior rooms and exterior quite nice and in my opinion a must see for 1st visit to city if you have the time. We were there for 3 nights so it was no problem, if there only 1 day on cruise/passing through then you could give it a miss unless really love house tours like we do. Bought tickets onsite no problem!
