Tablao Flamenco La Alborea is in the historic center of Granada, in Plaza Nueva, which is at the foot of La Alhambra and the Albaicin. Inside La Alborea, the audience can choose to either view the performance from the seats in the main grandstand located on the first floor or in the more intimate atmosphere of our reserved balconies. This stunning location and it’s perfect acoustics allow for a natural and authentic performance without the use of microphones or amplifiers. Every performance includes a guitarist and two dances, one female and one male. Many of these performers belong to the famous families of Sacromonte, an area of Granada famous for it’s generations of famous Flamenco performers. During the hour long experience, audiences enjoy a journey through the typical song and dance styles of pure Spanish Flamenco!

Absolutely amazing and very authentic
After so many visits to Andalucia, we decided it was finally time to experience Flamenco. After some google we found La Alborea and decided to book a few days in advance. Unfortunately number of visitors are still a little low, so we were called and asked to reschedule in order to have at least more than one couple as visitors. No problem, and we were in no ways dissappointed. The show was more than expected; very authentic and very high quality (with our untrained knowledge). Highly recommendable to anyone visiting Granada, or able to make the drive from Malaga area (about two hours by car). The room/theater is very intimate and any seats will bring you close.

A stunning and visceral experience
This small intimate theatre is the perfect setting for an explosion of joyful and energetic Flamenco ??. The guitarist, singer and two dancers were all equally skilled and danced until they nearly dropped from exhaustion. A real showcase for this exhilarating form of dance ??
