Impressive sherry and art in one great tour experience
Laura was an enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable guide. With only 3 in our group, this tour experience felt very personal and the 5 sampled sherries were all fantastic. I had really not realised how relatively complex the sherry making can be, from the environment in which the casks are stored to the criadera system - and the fact the at this bodega you are talking about sherries of 30-40 years old. At the end of the sherry tour and tasting it was a privilege to be able to view such an impressive private collection of Spanish paintings so close up, including some by Goya, Velasquez and Picasso but also others such as de Brugada and Aranda. This visit is more expensive than others, such as the ‘big’ sherry brands that you will find in supermarkets - but it is definitely worth it.

    Well Worth a Visit
We wanted to visit a Bodega during our few days in Jerez. We were attracted to Bodegas Trsdicion because it is not one of the “Big Names” and also because of the opportunity to visit the art collection. We were not disappointed, we were treated to a small group tour there being 10 of us in total. Our guide explained the processes involved in producing the different types of sherry, she made it fairly easy to understand a complicated process. After touring the Bodega we sat in the courtyard and had a tutored tasting of 5 excellent sherries accompanied by ham & cheese. With the last glass we were shown into the art gallery containing works by various artists which we could view at our leisure. We both thoroughly enjoyed the visit and would definitely recommend it.
