SNORKELING IN CABO DE GATA

We had a wonderful day at the lighthouse in Cabo de Gata, Almeria. When we went to see the lighthouse, we noticed people snorkelling below in Las Sirenas. We decided to join them and found a spectacular world of fish and reefs below the surface. Watch out for sea urchins and nude bathers though!

    Rugged Outcrop at the Lighthouse Headland
    Once you arrive at the Cabo de Gata lighthouse, you cannot miss seeing this outcrop of rocks sticking up out of the sea, they are probably one of the most photographed sites around this area. A well viewed landscape attraction.

    Special place
    This place is wonderful, not only as landscape view, also as a snorkeling place. Bring your snorkel equipment and have a nice time there. At the end of the day, it is a shady place and it makes difficult to observe things underwater, so go earlier ;)
