Fascinating journey through the waters around Unalaska
Captain Asia did a wonderful job showing us nature, birds, and marine mammals in the waters surrounding Unalaska. Her boat was clean and comfortable. We went inside the heated cabin to warm up between sightings. We would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Unalaska.

Two sisters and a boat
A really nice tour of the waters around the island. We came to see the wildlife and they found it. Eagles, whales, otters, puffins - everything we could have asked for and more.

A Great Experience
Our ship, the Viking Orion, ported in Dutch Harbor on May 16, 2019. Since the ship had scheduled no excursions at that location, we found out about Keepin It Reel Charters Unlimited from someone on the Cruise Critic blog and booked the "Morning Site Seeing" trip with another couple who were friends of ours. It was good that we did, since there were only six seats available on the boat and the other two were taken by the Cruise Critic folks that found out about the trip. The boat is normally used as a fishing charter, but they were able to accommodate us for site seeing. The small boat was very nice, comfortable, and clean. The captain and young female crew member were very knowledgeable and definitely made the trip into a great experience. We saw about a dozen eagles just leaving the port area and several other on the cruise. We also saw hundreds of sea otters, often in large groups. Perhaps, the best part of the was after a fairly long ride, we were able to see a large sea lion rookery. There were probably well over 100 sea lions and several of the males were enormous and they vocally provide a serenade of sounds. We also saw quite a bit of other wildlife. We highly recommend this trip and if we are ever back in Dutch Harbor we'd definitely try to do it again.
