A must do if you are a winter weather fan

My daugher and I did the 1/2 day excursion- about 4 hours. We spent about 1 1/2 hours meeting the dogs, harnessing and connecting them to the slad, and learned how to operate a sled. Then we were off for a ~20 mile ride! Ryan was in the lead sled about 100ft ahead of us and we were in our own sled behind him. This was not a trot through the woods like a trail horse- you had to brake, lean, and duck down at certain times. A great adventure. It was about 5F outside and we had plenty of cold weather gear- only our feet got a little cold so make sure you have good quality boots and socks as well as jacket, etc. We went on a dogsled ride in VT a few years ago (also a 5 out of 5 in my opinion) and this blew it away. Highly recommend.

    Very rewarding and enjoyable experience.
My wife and I visited Yoop Ak Dog Sled Adventures in Nenana in March 2020. It was a very educational and invigorating experience. We learned so much about the dogs, sledding, their diets, etc., etc. The dogs are so much enthusiastic about running. You can see and hear their excitement as preparations are being made for the run. They seem most happy to be harnessed and allowed to run the trails. Sarah and Ryan were very knowledgeable and were also dedicated to our comfort and warmth. Overall, a very rewarding and enjoyable
