The Parish House Rectory, Alaska, United States

Interesting historic place
Handsome to observe from the outside. HOWEVER, this - as well as the church and chapel in Old Town were all locked up tight. It would be so much more interesting to be able to see inside.

Oldest Original Building in Kenai
The Parish House Rectory was built in 1881 and is believed to be the oldest original building on the Kenai Peninsula. This is home to the priest of the Russian Orthodox Church and you can find him here if he is not at the church.

Historical Value
It is a historical building. Not much more to say than that. Would not keep the interest very long. Specially kids.
