Skagway photo adventure
This was a Holland America photography tour out of Skagway, Alaska. Your guide was Dale Cunning. It was an excellent tour in a small group. Dale timed stops to avoid crowds at the popular sites. Over 3 hours we made about 10 stops at photographic stops most of which I would have missed on my own. Dale is helpful to assist everyone no matter what their level of experience. Itinerary will vary depending on weather conditions. We had good weather so we started out at Skagway grave yard and waterfall and up to white pass and just into the Yukon. Got lots of great photos!

Always something to see and photograph
Booked the 3 hour photo tour off a cruise ship with Dale and enjoyed what became a 4 hour tour ! I am a long time photographer (50 years) and I will always find a photo .Dale took us through the town of Skagway and gave us a quick overview of the history and then took us to a variety of waterfalls ,lakes and scenic look outs. We did have a brief stop in the gold rush cemetery where I would have liked a tad more time. We also passed the White pass train yard which had some older cars and equipment (it might also have been an interesting stop) .Like many photo tours everyone was at a different level and has a different eye when looking at a scene ( I tend to like abstracts and maybe not the traditional postcard style images) and to his credit Dale accommodated all six of us on the tour according to our wants. If you would like an inexpensive half day outing and if you are openminded and creative I'm certain you will get some interesting scenic shots. Please thank Dale and perhaps have him take a look at my days results if you wouldn't mind.

Chilkoot Lake Nature and Wildlife Viewing Tour
We had an amazing time on our Chilkoot Lake Nature and Wildlife Viewing tour and are thankful we choose Rainbow Adventures for our brief visit to Haines. Would recommend them to anyone considering a company in the area to get the most from the time in the area. David was a great and informative guide. He made the tour a fabulous experience.
