    Fun, Informative Tour
The Large Animal Research Station tour was so fun! We went in October 2022, so it was the winter tour and it was cold (bundle up, it's all outside!) but so informative and interesting. The tour guide was a student at the university and he did a phenomenal job. We learned so much about musk ox and reindeer and got to see quite a few animals, including some baby musk ox. The guide answered all our questions and really knew his stuff, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

    MuskOx and Caribou
This is a large plot of land focused on animal research through the University and does not really cater to tourists. But you can stop and see the muskox up close (through the fence) and caribou. We didn't stay long and I am not sure if they give any kind of tour. But I was tickled to have been so close to a muskox. Actually they are not nearly as large you as you would think. Much smaller than bison.
