Great way to spend a day in Alaska...catching sockeye salmon!!
We had a wonderful time catching sockeye salmon during our Alaskan vacation and we're getting to enjoy them now back home in Louisiana! We arranged our fishing trip in advance with Kenai Wild Fishing and opted for the combo salmon fishing trip. In retrospect we should have just booked to fish for Sockeye as the King were not biting at all which meant we paid extra for that stamp on our license as well as to put the rods out for no action at all. Nevertheless, we had a blast fishing and catching our limit on sockeye and Joe was the perfect guide in helping our group achieve that goal! Afterwards he also cleaned/filleted our fish and directed us where to take them to get them processed/frozen to bring home. What a wonderful day in the gorgeous Kenai River; thank you Joe!!

Great fishing memories !!!!
Fishing with Kenai Wild Fishing was definitely the highlight of our Alaskan adventure! We had planned this trip pre covid and I had begun working out the itinerary with Jenn . We had to cancel once the pandemic hit, but reconnected and rescheduled.My husband wanted to fish for salmon and halibut. Jenn worked with her contact in Homer to get us set to fish for Halibut . (Also a great experience (D&G charters) .She also set us up a second day to fish on the Kenai for salmon. We went out with Jen’s husband ,Johannes ,for salmon and it was great!!!! Jenn made sure to find out exactly what we were looking for ( what we wanted to fish for, in boat or in water with waders…She took the time to explain the differences of what we could fish for as well as restrictions on amount to keep so there were no surprises. She made sure we were prepared and knew what to expect . She took the time to find the experience that our family was looking for. They are very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to make this the best experience! Kenai Wild fishing is family run small business with a personal touch, very thankful we were able to work with them and highly recommend!!!!!

Great experience!
Where to start? It was our first experience fishing in Alaska and it was fantastic from start to finish. Booking with Jenn was easy. She coordinated our schedule to maximize our experience and minimize stress of travel including a halibut charter out of Homer. Jo was the guide extraordinare! Caught first salmon within minutes of hitting water and our limit within 2! This is a family owned business with a personal touch so you don’t feel like your cattle. Highly recommend.
