Fantastic!

We visited Icy Straight Point on our Celebrity Cruise at the end of July and were looking for something to do away from the cruise ship. This was a great option! Cody and his team were fantastic! We loved the beautiful scenery and all of the history of the Hoonah people we learned. The kayak and gear were all in great condition, but the staff of Fairweather Kayak Tours are what really made the experience incredible. This tour is definitely worth the money and something that will give you the quintessential Alaskan kayak experience.

    nicest tour company!
We had a great time. We had to adjust our time and the company was very responsive. It was just my husband and I from the cruise ship. We saw a lot of wildlife. Hoonah Adventures transferred us and we walked back as was our decision. Company has the nicest friendliest people I've met. It was becoming an annoyance earlier in our cruise as most of our trips were being run by bored college students. Not so here. Family run and so nice. Pictures were sent to me almost immediately. Guide was very knowledgeable. Safery boat was always in view.

    Beautiful experience
This was by far the best part of our trip to the Juneau area! It even beat the all day boat trip up Glacier Bay. Cody is super friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and very patient with inexperienced (older) kayakers. We paddled out of the harbor, around an island and under a bridge that used to go to a logging camp and out into Port Frederick Sound. We saw eagles and whale. We tried to get closer to the whale, but they definitely travel faster than beginning kayakers. It was a beautiful day, and so peaceful out on the water. I felt in touch with the real Alaska for the first time on our trip. Bonus - Cody shared some of the Dungeness crab he and his mom had caught when he found out we hadn't had any yet. Yum!! I highly recommend this experience and Fairweather Kayaks
