An Authentic Gallery in Alaska
Going to this Art Gallery provides a very authentic Alaskan experience. On the way to the gallery you travel along the beautiful Chilkat River. The Gallery is a charming wooden building nestled in the woods. The host is the hospitable glass and water colour artist John Svenson who shares his knowledge of Alaskan life with visitors. The day our group visited he treated us to delicious salmon he caught and smoked that morning, From the back porch of the gallery is a stunning view of the Surprise hanging glacier. The Extreme Dreams Gallery hosts the work of other local artists including the stunning silver jewelry of Debi Knight Kennedy, A worthwhile visit.
