Wow the view. Watch arctic sun!!
Beautiful view. Was always our go to place for solstice to watch the sun move along the horizon. Short or full day hike. Wonderful!!

Endless Views across the Gold Domes that brought Miners to the Interior
In addition to good parking and better than average outhouses and garbage cans-- all desirable things to have in remote areas, Eagle Summit has incredible views! there are several hiking trails in the area, but I have not travelled more than a few hundred yards on them, because I am always in a hurry to get to Central or Fairbanks. This is one of my favorite places in the Interior; you can see the miles and miles of hills and mountains in all directions and frequently catch glimpses of wildlife, as well. Twice a year the caribou are in the area, and then you will see thousands of animals and likely have to wait for them to clear the road if you want to continue.
