Winter trsil challenge

My husband and I took the winter trail challenge and chose the one starting at the antler arch. It was a great 5 mile walking loop.itconbecrs to the pioneer park. I highly recommend the scenic walk along the Chena River

    Perfectly Named
It’s an arch made out of antlers from moose and caribou. Hence the name Antler Arch. Cute little place for a photo op. A little vandalism detracts from the coolness of the experience of getting your picture taken under a curved structure made of antlers.

Come on, it's an antler arch by the Chena River trail
By now you've probably realized that a lot of Alaska sight seeing stuff is pretty minor. This antler arch fits right in. It is very near the good local museum, right off the really nice Chena River trail (bike, walk), and downtown. So it is close and you may as well see it while you are here.
