Gold Mining Experience
My grandson and I had a great experience with Prospector John and assistant, Mike. We did the actual gold "mining" experience where we hiked into the woods and learned about gold mining and experienced a little bit of what prospectors go through in their quest for gold. Our guide and his assistant were fun and kept us safe on our journey and it was lots of fun. I would highly recommend this activity keeping in mind it is an active trip so take into account when booking. My grandson and I both did well though and no problems. This area could use your support. They are doing a great job and please support them if possible.

20 years of knowing Prospector John
Prospector John is a true American storyteller / educator offering a unique and authentic outdoor adventure experience. For 20 years i have brought college students and others to Cooper Landing. Seeing John and experiencing what he offers is always one of the most memorable moments of those on my annual adventures!
