The Wharf is a vibrant entertainment district with hundreds of fun events throughout the year. Located on Portage Creek, this sprawling complex features over 60 unique stores, bars and restaurants. Hop on The Wharf Express Train for a ride down Main Street, and hop off to shop and play mini-golf or laser tag. You can also ride the Ferris Wheel, or even go on a dolphin cruise. At night, don't forget to catch the daily spectacular light show. Something Fun or Interesting Around Every Corner
What a great place! My wife and I, along with my daughter's family (including two of my grandbabies) went here one afternoon while vacationing in Gulf Shores. While most of the outdoor attractions were closed due to a line of thunderstorms rolling through, we enjoyed a great afternoon and evening going through the amazing variety of shops. There was something for every member of our party! I particularly liked the Kentucky Mist Distillery. They offer tastings of a number of unusual and great quality spirits. My wife and daughter loved shopping at the numerous clothes, shoes, and apparel stores. We finished the evening by having an amazing meal at Yo Ho Rum & Tacos. The service was super friendly, and the food was fresh and flavorful. I had the fish tacos that were amazing! I look forward to coming back here under better weather conditions to enjoy the rest of the activities offered. We had a great time regardless!

Not Great
Meh. It wasn't as interesting as I had hoped. We have kids from 10 down to 2 and unless you have lots of money to shop it's a skip. The ferris wheel was not even operating. The bungee jumping activity by the theater was run by a teenager who apparently had WAY better things to do then be there doing his job. The burger restaurant there was RIDICULOUSLY over priced with more workers who hated their job. It was neat to see the yahts and boats but that was the best thing. Won't be back.
