Great place to see a show
I recently traveled to Opelika, AL to see The Simon and Garfunkel Story at the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts. This is a wonderful place to see a show. The place looks very new and was very clean. The theater was large and had a great sound. The staff was outstanding as well. Friendly and accommodating. Parking was so easy and was free! Check out a show at this venue. You will not be disappointed.

small town, big performance
The Performing Arts Center is at the high school but this is no high school auditorium. Though there are quite entertaining plays by the local high school students, there are also shows by international symphonies and performers.

A very good place to see great entertainment.
There is a Performance Series sponsored by the local Arts group that brings in international performances by many types of artists. I have been a season ticket holder for many years. People come from as far as Atlanta to attend. In addition the Center is attached to the local high school and they present a variety of musical and dramatic productions. Sound is good and the auditorium is small enough that there are no bad seats. Some shows are very popular so call ahead before you drive long distances.
