My mom and I dropped by one afternoon and it was such a great way to spend an hour! We were staying at The Lodge (highly recommend btw) and loved seeing the creatures here: all kinds of snakes and turtles, a bat, seahorses, and more. A Hawk and owls outside. The staff were great about spending time answering questions. And it’s free!! Great stop.

    Great hidden find!!
We stumbled upon this gem while visiting Orange Beach this month. The kids loved seeing turtles, hawks, and owls. Seeing two baby alligators was an added bonus! The staff was very friendly! Would highly recommend a stop in if you're in the area.

    Very picturesque
The setting for this nature center is beautiful as it sits on a lake. They have daily presentations. They have two owls and a red tail hawk in captivity, as they were injured and can't survive on their own. They also have a couple of baby alligators. They are knowledgeable and will answer any questions about critters in the park.
