Great beach experience
Great beach, well maintained and clean. Good place for kids as you can get off the gulf beach where the wind and waves are rough and over into the bay area where it's calmer. Really enjoyed the beach day there. Long walk out the pier though, bring good shoes then change at the sand. We had the same idea as dozens of others however, as we returned for the evening to get photos. Lots of professional photographers and families there but the pics turned out great. Great place for sunsets also

Beautiful beach and water
My husband and I decided to venture out from our condo in Perdido Key and so happy we did. This beach was not only beautiful but there was plenty of space to setup your chairs, etc.. White sand and beautiful water. There is plenty of free parking especially under the over pass, bathrooms, outside showers and picnic areas. There are 3 different board walks to get you to the beach. One is a short walk and the other two are very long but worth the walk. Just be prepared to walk a distance especially if you are carrying a lot.
