Adjara Museum of Art, Adjara Region, Georgia

4.0 (76 reviews) Spent Ranking #30 in Batumi Speciality Museums

Better art museum than i found living ten years in Tbilisi

The interior of this small museum is a delight, like walking through a Rothschild 20th century chateau, and the spiral staircases are a delight to look at and walk on. Many colorful paintings here, to slowly meditate upon. Highly recommended for any trip to Batumi.

    Rustic building with beautiful collection
The Adjara State Museum of Arts is an interesting museum with (visual) art from all over Georgia, including the Adjara region. The museum is housed in a beautiful old building with a rustic style. During our visit, it was quiet so we could enjoy the sculptures and paintings, including Pirosmani and Kakabadze.

    Paints generally
Post modern and generally newly dated paints and some hand made articles can be seen in the museum. Here in fact is not a museum but art house. Entrance is paid.
