Outstanding Ship Museum :)

Launch of the first ever tanker- museum in the world in Baku will give the local residents and ever-growing tourists of the city the opportunity to get to know about the history of the Caspian Sea and the heroic efforts of Azerbaijani sailors. Surakhani ship-museum serves as a bridge between the past and the present history of modern Azerbaijan with its ancient sailing traditions.

    Amazing experience
This museum is located on the coast of the Caspian Sea, the coast itself is very clean and well maintained, as are the tankers themselves. Inside the tankers, you can see and even touch some exhibits, understand how tankers work and what function they perform, see their models, and even play a game simulating tanker parking. I strongly recommend to visit this place with friends, children and family, you will not remain indifferent!

    Interesting tanker-museum
I have never been on the tanker-museum before, and I was quite shocked how good and interesting it could be. The creators of the museum tried really hard to bring some interesting facts about the tanker itself (which is one of the first oil-tankers in the world), local and world ship-building, maritime culture and other aspects connected with the maritime business. The museum is quite interactive. It has a lot of digital installation, games and interesting artifacts, not only from the Caspian sea, but from around the world. The guides are quite interesting, but it was a shame that there were very few English and Russian guides, hope that they will solve this problem in the future, due to this problem we spend quite a time waiting for the English and Russian tours to come, however we had a chance to wait on the boat, what was a curious experience. I would like to attend this place again in a couple of years. To see what it has become.
