   Wessels Living History Farm is a hands-on, working farm. Activities for all ages, something for everyone. Tour the 1917 house, post and beam barn, granary, and other outbuildings of the farm. Climb up on Dave Wessels' antique tractors, visit the 1905 church and learn something old in the rural schoolhouse. Check out the gift shop for locally made items. Closed Mon-Weds (only open for classes & by appt.) Open Thurs-Sat 10am-4pm, and Sundays 1pm- 4pm beginning June 1st 2020. Special tours, events, and space rental is available year-round.    One of the best escape rooms I have ever been to. Four of us did "The Illusionist" room. It had a good combination of hands on puzzles and thinking puzzles. A good variety of locks (not all padlocks). The whole thing was very professional. I'll definitely be back for a different room. See more..

   The Clayton Museum of Ancient History featuring the Stanback collection includes a wide array of artifacts, with the core of the collection focused around the Roman soldier. This facility offers enhancements for classroom instruction in history and Biblical studies and provides an excellent collection that the college shares with the public. CMAH's interactive area, the Little Kingdom, gives visitors a hands-on experience on an archaeology dig, living in an ancient Israelite house, or shopping a Roman market.    I love to go to these small town and county museums. They are a great place to see a lot of local history artifacts and memorabilia, and this was no exception. In fact, a lot of the items displayed here have been donated by the people of York. There are displays of farm equipment, regular household things, jewelry, quilts and lots of other things. The museum is in a community type building downtown, As I recall parking was on the street and there is no admission. Go and be pleasantly surprised. See more..
