   I’ve been taking the kids to this for the last seven or eight years every summer. It’s a good clean-cut fun lighthearted show. They get the crowd involved, they sell candy and cheap beer, it’s fun to watch, and the kids can take home a chunk of wood. The jokes stay the same, but the lumberjacks change every couple of years so it’s fun to watch it for that reason. We’re going back this June and very much looking forward to it. See more..

   We found out about the largest penny in Woodruff WI when doing research for unique, unusual and quirky photo-ops in Wisconsin. The story behind this largest penny made this a must-see and now to also honor the mission, effort, and resolve to build a hospital from spare penny contribution. That sounds like America to me!
