   This trail is 74 miles long and runs through 4 Wisconsin counties. The trail ends are at Rice Lake, WI. and the east end at Park Falls, WI. The section we visited was near Winter, Wisconsin as we were trying to find a cabin for sale near the Rustic Lodge. We walked along the trail for a mile or so near there. I have to say, this trail caters mostly to ATVs and other off-road vehicles and in the summer is extremely dusty as it is gravel. As such, I do not advise walking this trail for the serenity and scenery. It is not quiet and not fun to walk on. Heavily traveled by noisy ATVs. Also deer hunting is allowed along the trail during deer season, so beware. See more..
