Way better than a wayside. Nice little shop with everything you expect to find in Northern Wisconsin. Great cheese selection (surprise, surprise). Well worth the five minute detour. See more..

Came from Green Bay to check out the sculptures. Followed the directions from the Press Gazette which were wrong, but found it anyway. The walk thru the woods was nice and cool. It's crazy to think that who owned this land thought of so many rustic sculptures to make. I am glad it was saved. And it was entertaining, short and now, i can check it off my list. See more..
  3. 3.0 Dave’s Brewfarm (1 review)
    - Unique craft beer experience!
    Spent 1-2 hours Breweries

Finding Dave's brewfarm is a bit of an experience in its self. First you have to find his website, to see which weekends and hours he's open, then drive out to a beautiful remote setting, where i'm guessing he lives above the brewery. We pulled up and parked near the top of the driveway, but cars and trucks circled the building. On the backside of the building on the lower level is a well marked door signalling the entrance to the taproom. A small bar packed with a dozen or so people who are eager to help and share stories greeted us. It felt like a cash only place, and several people had brought food and snacks in, some were sharing. We settled on a flight of the 8 beers on tap for $10. He brews some unique craft beers in small batches, a true craftsman who hasn't yet been bit by a capitalistic bug. As people came and were greeted it seemed like a small community of friends and we were welcomed in. I can't say that I loved all the beers, but it was a very unique craft beer experience worth checking out. See more..
