   We were looking for a place to picnic near Milwaukee and found this beautiful free park. It has picnic tables and clean restrooms which were just what our family needed. The grounds are connected to an awesome overlook of Lake Michigan with a winding walkway down to the rocky beach which afforded the kids a great exploring opportunity. The playground was also an added plus the kids enjoyed and there are tennis courts too. We visited in October so there were very few people around and the fall color was at it's peak. We will definitely make this a stop whenever we are traveling through the area. See more..
