    - Fun Day - Great Experience!
    River Rafting & Tubing

We planned a day of rafting for our family (mom, Dad, two 18 year olds and two early 20’s). Wanted a day on the river that was fun but not anything that required life jackets and helmets. We had a great experience with Herb’s - very efficient check-in and getting us out on the river. Rafts were in great condition and the “long trip” was perfect- it took us 4 hours or so and the rapids were exciting but not anything that we couldn’t handle. Got splashed a little bit but for the most part stayed dry unless you wanted to swim in the river. Got out at the designated spot and the van was right there waiting to drive us back to our car. All in all a fun family day! See more..

Saw Jimmy Buffett here at Alpine Valley. Great venue, good sound. Lake Geneva is nearby with alot of stores, restaurants, boating, jet skiing, fishing, or just lounging by the lake on a beach. Beautiful area, nice people. See more..
  4. 4.0 Black Bear Food & Spirits (1 review)
    - Great food and service
    Bars & Clubs
Been going here for years after a long day of rafting, we are a large party so we do phone ahead. They are always friendly and accomodating and the food is good. Love the broasted chicken. See more..
  5. 4.0 Herb's Rafts (1 review)
    - Great Raft Trip
    Gear Rentals
We (2 adults, 1 teenager) rented a raft to take our first rafting trip. We chose the long trip they offer so we could have a mix of calm waters to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and some rapids to get experience maneuvering thru the rougher water before advancing to a trip going over Big Smokey Falls. This was a great trip for us and the falls were fun, a bit Challenging and gave us the experience needed to go on rougher water. A lot of fun but like all activities, get some knowledge before you go. They will be honest with you about what trip will best suit your skill level. Will raft with them again! See more..
  6. 4.0 Living Color Ranch (1 review)
    - Great Family Activity
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 AM Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours
    Living Color Ranch image
3 generation, ages 6-70, enjoyed a fun ride in a ver nice setting. The horses were well cared foe and the owners took care to match the skill level with the horse. The guide was very helpful and friendly. There was a second guise at the end of our group of 8 which was reassuring. It was a beautiful day. The rating would have gee. A 5 except for one incident that could have been catastrophic- there was a gun in a holster one one of the guides horses. The guide wasn’t on the horse yet but somehow the gun fell out of the holster into the ground. We were very fortunate that it did not misfire and strike someone or spook the horses as some of us were ready to start. Hopefully a lesson learned and extreme caution will br taken in the future not to allow this to happen again See more..
  7. 3.5 Shotgun Eddy (50 reviews)
    - Hang on to your hat!
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Water Sports

This is a great ride with huge drop offs and not for the faint of heart. You may need to portage in places but there are a couple of spots that are just rough. You need to be a strong swimmer and have a clear mind to take this ride, especially when the water is high. I've taken this trip three times and every time there is someone in trouble somewhere along the way. This is a great trip but you need to be ready for it! If you'd like to raft but want a smoother ride go on up a few miles and take Buettner's Wild Wolf raft trips. That is more of a "float" rather than a rapids situation. See more..
