    Parks
    Kiroli Park image
We attended the Christmas lights in Kiroli Park drive through event. It is 10.00 to get in and they have a radio station you can set to and hear the music inside your car. There were displays featuring lights, inflatable decorations and handmade painted wooden pieces all over. It was nicely done and fun to drive through. It is not as large as Candy Cane lane but it was very well laid out and looked good. Glad to see the lights back in the park. See more..
  2. 5.0 Landry Vineyards (90 reviews)
    - Complex Wines in a Charming Setting

    Landry Vineyards image
Landry Vineyards was established in 1999 by Jeff, Libby and their four sons; Ethan, Kohen, Noah and Micah along with the loving labor of family and friends. The first grape vines planted were two acres of a white European American hybrid grape, Blanc Du Bois, with plans for 2003 expansion including a red grape, Cynthia/Norton. Landry Vineyards was licensed as a Louisiana Native Winery in 2003. The first vineyards were established in Folsom, La. where the winery was also located. Soon after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the Landry's used the storm opportunity to relocate to higher ground. They now reside in the beautiful hill country of West Monroe, La on a 20-acre site including a new winery, vineyards and beautiful tasting room. The Landry family strives to produce quality Louisiana wines that are distinctive to the region while complimenting the rich flavorful Cajun Foods of our French Acadian Heritage. Landry Vineyards wines may be purchased in 450 stores throughout Louisiana, from our website or by visiting Landry Vineyards in West Monroe, Louisiana. See more..
  3. 5.0 Lazarre Park (1 review)
    - Nice park for walking our dog
    Parks
    Lazarre Park image
Our dog goes on road trips with us and when we stayed nearby in Monroe I took her for a long walk in the park before we were ready to drive on for the day. The park has paved paths as well as dirt ones but they are maintained. There is a boat ramp as the park is along the river. There are restrooms and also a disc golf course for those who do that sport. Plenty of picnic tables in the open as well as in a covered pavilion. See more..

Very nice park ~ close enough to walk off raspberry cobbler from the Cracker Barrel. I visited in the evening so it was a little dark and creepy by myself, but it was nice to feel like I had gotten away from town if only for a few minutes. Would recommend checking it out. See more..

    - A must stop & shop area
Spent More than 3 hours Antique Shops
    Antique Alley image
We enjoyed Antique Alley so much on a recent golfing trip through Louisiana. The afternoon was a wonderful experience with cute shops and restaurants! We had coffe and sweets at Miss Kay's and we're delighted with the cafe. We bought our way through several antique shops and speciality shops for gifts for family and friends. My very favorite shop was The Naked Nomad. Owner Madison has superb taste and unmatched customer service. She allowed pics of clothes I wanted to purchase for my daughter even modeling for the photos. I texted the pics for confirmation to purchase. It was a wonderful experience. See more..

    - Fantastic Tour
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Speciality Museums
    Duck Commander image
This warehouse, gift shop & museum is owned by the Robertson family of "Duck Dynasty" fame. Duck Commander was built on passion, pride and faith. It's uncommon to have an occupation that allows you to do what you truly love. The Duckmen do just that. We've come a long way since Phil jumped in his truck in the 70's and sold his duck calls "one at a time." Now Duck Commander is a brand that speaks to more than just the waterfowler. It represents a way of life; one of faith, family and the opportunity to live off the land. We have a line of duck calls that go back to 1972 when Phil patented the first double reed system. We have both low-end and high-end calls as well as calls for several different species of ducks. See more..

    Excalibur Family Fun Center image
One of the few places in town, that you can let you kids run wild and enjoy themselves. We've had a couple of birthday parties there for my daughter and both kids love going back. The go-carts in the back of the campus are always fun, and it's a great place to hang especially during the winter months when the kids are dying to get out of the house. See more..

If you’re going to a movie in Northeast LA, see it here. The stadium style seats are comfortable and make the experience enjoyable. The prices are typical for the industry as are the concessions. The selection here is more diverse in everything — movies, movie times, concessions, etc. The theater facility is kept reasonably clean and in good working order. This is, in essence, the flagship of movie theaters in this area providing the best movie experience available in the region. Go here. See more..
