-Massage and facial
Spas
Staying with friends at the Owners Club this week and they booked my massage and my wife’s facial. My massage was excellent and I enjoyed her technique between warm stones and pressure. My wife was extremely happy with her facial. The Staff has been vaccinated and wore masks even though we too have been been vaccinated- we all felt safe and highly recommend a visit here !! Thursday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries
The Warm Springs Gallery, established in 1995, is a fine art gallery dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists, providing quality and original artwork to art collectors and art enthusiasts alike. The galleries exhibit a diverse roster of established and emerging artists, representing more than twenty painters whose styles span the spectrum from realism to abstraction, through landscape and still lifes, specializing in Virginia landscape paintings. The galleries also exhibit fine crafts, integrating exquisite sculptural objects in glass, wood, clay, fiber, and bronze alongside two-dimensional works. Upstairs at the Warm Springs Gallery is the Garden Room and Café, a combo shop-café offering a beautiful array of handmade home and garden décor, gifts, personal care items, stationery, books, and artisanal foods. The informal café serves sweet bakery pick-me-ups plus savory lunch options. We use only seasonal produce so our lunches are ever changing. See more..

-Steep but not difficult trail with rewarding panoramic view.
Spent < 1 hour Lookouts
The parking is easy. The trail is a part of Warm Springs Mountain Preserve which belongs to Nature Conservancy. It is 2.36 miles long and the Overlook is the trail’s highlight and main landmark. Along the way there are many explanatory signs and the view at the overlook platform is very rewarding. See more..
- 4.5 Bolar Mountain Recreation Area (34 reviews)
-Beautiful
Parks
Besides getting rained out on our last night, Bolar was an extraordinary campsite. The water was so blue and warm. The people were great. I would definitely recommend reserving online beforehand as we got lucky and got one of the last two available sites. Also, shop beforehand for necessities and food: driving to get things is one hell of a hike and there are no supermarkets nearby, just small mom & pop shops which don't get me wrong, definitely are authentic and cute, just do not have a lot of the necessities.
