Top places to visit

  1. 5.0 Bois De Sioux Golf Course (1 review)
    - Great course
    Golf Courses
Very nice course. As far as I know, the only course in the US with 18 holes, 9 of which are in MN and 9 in ND. There a few tough greens in terms of slope and some difficult holes on approach, but overall, a great course for an average golfer. See more..
  2. 5.0 Chahinkapa Park (1 review)
    - So much to do all in one place - and most of it is FREE!
    Parks
This is a great place to go as a family, there is a walking path that takes you through all the various places there. We started at the Sculpture Gardens, taking time to play in the interactive musical sculpture, get our picture taken with the Moose, Velociraptor, and several other sculptures. Then we followed the path over past the campground and to the Zoo entrance. We didn't go into the zoo but did take time to enjoy the mural and the flowers. We would definitely go back again. The places we didn't visit during this visit were the two playgrounds, the aquatic center, the baseball/softball fields and the carousel...but maybe next time. See more..

Wow! This was a pleasant surprise! I have been to about 90 zoos / aquariums around the world. This is a wonderful little zoo! Extremely impressive animals for its size.....Plains Zebras, Southern White Rhinoceros, Bornean-Sumatran Orangutan, Cheetah, Fossa, Snow Leopard, North American River Otters, Eagles, Camels, Alpacas, Llamas, Bobcats, Cougar/Mountain Lions, Kangaroos, Lemurs, Spider Monkeys, White-handed Gibbons, Elk, Bison, etc. It was a beautiful warm and sunny day. There were hardly any guests, so it was the perfect day for a quiet stroll. The animals were all active and the walking paths take you pretty close to their cages, exhibits, and habitats. The admission with AAA discount was $10.25. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this zoo if your travels ever bring you to this part of North Dakota! See more..

Just another part of North Dakota art meant to draw tourist. Must work, I stopped. Actually, I was going to Wahpeton to golf in 2 states on the same course, but I did deliberately stop at Jamestown to see the World's Largest Buffalo just a couple minutes off I-94. See more..

You can google the story behind this memorial. It’s very touching. Google address is slightly off, but you will find it. The pole is the highest stone in the cemetery. It’s a beautiful location. It made my heart happy to see how well the cemetery is kept up. See more..

Sunday worship services will be held at 10:00 AM. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes that through Jesus Christ all humankind may enjoy eternal life with their families in God’s kingdom (see John 3:16). We also believe that we lived with God as spirits before we were born (see Romans 8:16) and that according to His plan of happiness we came to earth to receive physical bodies in order to learn and grow. We also believe that, through the work done in temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, family relationships can last forever. In order to receive these blessings, we must seek to know and follow God’s will, as revealed by holy scriptures and living prophets, and live righteously. See more..
