   This is one of the best little out of the way places that your husband hopes you will never find! DeShia is a country boutique gift shop full of new and unusual tasteful decorating items, purses, scarves, and bling. It's a place where you find things that your friends will all ask "Where on earth did you get that? And, when can we go!" Owners and staff are wonderful to work with and even offer a light lunch menu 3 -4 days a week. We've used this location for ladies mystery tours and shopping trips, and it is a HUGE success every time. Shop is unassuming from the outside - but bursting with delights on the inside. Food is fabulous. Many items are prepared from mixes and fixings that are found in the store. Recommend this location for groups up to 45 - 50 for lunch (MAKE SURE YOU GET ON THE SCHEDULE) or just dropping in for a day trip. Your husband will love Karen's husband.    The Ohio TuesDayTrips crew happened upon the Brumback Library and decided to check it out. It is a cool building erected in 1901 and has the distinction of being the first county library in the United States. Go figure, here in Van Wert, Ohio. This is one truly remarkable building shaped like a castle and the interior is phenomenal with the original marble tile floors and vaulted ceiling. The entry is a sitting area and actually has a grand piano in it for community events. One thing that impressed Ken was the neatness of the stacks. All the books were evenly set in the shelves. At most libraries, the books are jutting in or out on the shelves in some messy random order. Not here. That takes time and attention to detail. See more..

   We went to the Children's Garden to see the beautiful Peonies and other flowers there, but then discovered this wonderful children's place to play. In addition to all of the nice play equipment, there is a small house, just for children (low door to enter) which is a butterfly house. Really nice place to visit. See more..
