Spent 2-3 hours Theaters
A huge shout out to the cast, staff and directors (and contributors) for the work they do for the PSST. We are a bit biased as our niece just performed in Newsies, but the performances, set direction and were outstanding! The hard work they put in to put on a good show is well worth it. -Peaceful Nature Wildlife Boardwalk!
Nature & Wildlife Areas
We went to the Grand Bay boardwalk on a Sunday for a nice peaceful stroll! What a beautiful and natural place with so much wildlife around. Take your time to look at all that nature offers. There are signs also that tells stories about the different areas and a tree that was over 400 years old, a long gone farming area and there’s lily pads with beautiful flowers on them. It’s a nice place to take a family, also you can use a stroller or wheelchair! Just the sound of the birds in nature is so refreshing to get out of the fast paced city. A definite must to see. - 4.5 Kinderlou Forest Golf Club (49 reviews)
-Kinderlou is outstanding!
Thursday: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM Golf Courses
Had to make a few trips to Valdosta area on business in 2008. Was looking for a good restaurant and someone recommended the clubhouse at Kinderlou. Ate dinner here one evening and took one look at the property and knew I'd better bring my clubs the next time, so I did. This course is massive. 7800 from the tips! Great flow to the holes. Beautiful layout in an upscale neighborhood. Conditions have been perfect or near perfect every time I have played. Clubhouse is great. Menu and wine list expansive and food is delicious. If you can make par on 18, you've earned it. That has to be one of the toughest par 4 finishing holes in all of golf. And the par 5 into the canyon on the front 9 is one of the most unique golf holes in the State of GA. Play here if you get a chance, you won't regret it. See more..

- 4.5 Georgia Beer Co. (11 reviews)
-Great, great!
Breweries
Hubby and I were traveling home to Punta Gorda and decided to stay the night in Lake Park. I googled breweries in the area, and this place was the only one around so we decided to go. What a great brewery, probably in our top 2 (top for us is Ellicottville in NY) Because of COVID they weren't doing flights, bt they allowed you try anything. The beertenders are great and personable. The beers....OMG, so good. I had the Amber hubby had the blonde..I also had a glass of the Coffee porter...one of the best I've ever had. The building is located in the former water facility for the city of Valdosta. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night just to go back to Georgia Beer Company and we will make sure this is a stop anyime we go through the area. See more..
- 4.5 Lowndes County Historical Society and Museum (9 reviews)
-Big information in a small building
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums
As we travel, we visit local museums. Although this museum is not in a big building, it's full of information about the area and days gone by. The displays caught our attention and the information placards did a good job explaining each thing. This was the first time I have seen an explanation of what people that didn't fight in the Civil War went through at home. It was very eye opening. Take the time to visit and learn more about the areas history. See more..

Mall was decent. Expected way more for the area. Stores weren’t bad but found a lot of them were unfriendly staff or didn’t greet us when we came into some of the stores. Wish it’s had more options but it has the bare basics. Could have been cleaner and floors felt sticky. Still would go back. See more..
